This was me all day:
Because I am oh so close to one of the best sporting weekends of the year. Four days. Forty-eight games. A butt-load of brackets. Some are filled out with an algorithm I wrote in javascript (courtesy of codeacademy here – I’ve never claimed to be cool), some are filled out as a pragmatist, some are filled out as a fan. All will probably lose. I. Don’t. Care.
I’ve taken the next two days off work. I don’t plan on being a real human being until Monday.
I will probably zone out somewhere around 8pm each day and need a steady diet of pizza and beer to bring me back. It will be glorious.
This is my version of a national holiday. I’ve done this every year for the past three years – we should all be so lucky.
I’ll be writing daily about the best games, the worst announcers, daily observations of being on the couch for so long, and whether or not my girlfriend will still want to move in with me after observing me descend into sports madness.  Stay tuned.
