They call him Desert Storm, they call him the WBO welterweight champ, they call him an amazing fighter; one thing they haven’t called him is a loser.

Timothy Bradley Jr. has a record of 31-0 with 12 KOs. Bradley has had one of the most controversial careers of any boxer of his generation.

After boxing as a light-welterweight, Bradley returned to welterweight on June 9, 2012 for a fight against Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2 with 38 KOs) for a shot at Manny’s WBO title.

The win was hotly contested in the sports world and Desert Storm’s integrity was being called into question after insisting he knew he won that fight hands down. And all eyes were on his next fight against the hard punching Ruslan Provodnikov on March 16, 2013.

Provodnikov was fighting in the biggest fight of his career against Timothy Bradley and both fighter trained non-stop to give it their all.

Little did either fighter know this would become the best fight of 2013. The fight was a homerun derby, each contestant was out to knockout each other during the fight. Hard power body shots and KO uppercuts where being thrown throughout the match’s entirety.

Bradley managed to win the fight by the scores of 114-113, 114-113, and 115-112. It was such a difficult match that for a month after the fight, Tim said he was slurring his speech and was urinating blood.

Pacquiao on the other hand had to redeem himself after such a shocking loss and end to his long unbeaten run.

Pacquiao went on to fight Juan Manuel Marquez December 8, 2012, for a fourth time in a non-title bout at welterweight.

Pacquiao was knocked out with one second left in the sixth round by a right to the jaw giving Marquez the KO win. Some speculated Pacquiao would retire after getting upset in two consecutive bouts.

But Manny had other plans. He wanted closure to Bradley vs Pacquiao I. And now Pacquio will get his wish in 3 days time.

Bradley vs Pacquiao II is scheduled for April 12th and just like every other Pacquio fight, the world will be watching.

Our opening number is Pacquiao -180 and +160 for Bradley which means Manny is slightly less than a 2-to-1 favorite.

Timothy Bradley believes that Manny Pacquiao hasn’t lost his ability, only his killer instinct. This fight has the potential to be the fight of the year.

Freddy Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, says Manny is working on his knock out punches, and Freddy is telling his fighter to leave nothing in the ring, go for the knockout and don’t let the decision go to the judges.

Bradley however can withstand a hellacious beating as witnessed in his Provodnikov fight. Tim has the heart to go 12 rounds and not get TKOed or KOed. If you’re a boxing fan, this should be a fight to remember.
